If you follow the Annapolis Hyundai blog on a regular basis, you'll know we've been making a lot of posts as of late on the developments the South Korean automaker has been making on their H2 technology. As we told you last month, Hyundai believes that hydrogen fuel cells are the future of the automotive industry. Recently, Hyundai's chief of North American operations, John Krafcik, did an interview with Plug In Cars about the benefits of these zero-emission cars over EVs.

It's anticipated by some. It's feared by others. It's the zombie apocalypse, where the dead rise and attack in droves. Some may prepare with baseball bats and explosives. South Korean automaker Hyundai, however, is preparing by arming their spiffy 2013 Veloster Turbo to the teeth and sending it to Comic-Con for the world to see.

If there's one thing that gets us just as excited as new Hyundai models, it's concept cars. So when we heard that the South Korean automaker's HCD-14 Genesis Concept was awarded Concept of the Year at the North American Concept Awards, we were stoked beyond stoked.

When it comes to hydrogen fuel cell technology, South Korean automaker Hyundai is on the top of their game. As we recently told you on our blog, the manufacturer has already delivered several of these zero-emission autos to the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. Now, they're gearing up stateside for another H2 vehicle, the Hyundai Tucson.

Small sales gains are still gains: and it means the company who is achieving the gains is steadily continuing to grow stronger month-after-month.

Hyundai recently partnered with H₂USA in a public-private partnership that was created by the Department of Energy (DOE) which is meant to unite automakers, researchers and others to create hydrogen infrastructure here in the United States.
