The Consumer Electronics Show, known as CES, the technology world comes together to show off what's new in gadgetry and how new creations are here to make our lives easier, and more convenient. Of course, automakers are always well represented at the event held in Las Vegas every year, and in 2014, Hyundai scored a big award from the editors of two big publications.

TechHive and PC World said that the 2015 Hyundai Genesis was the winner of the Best Car Tech category, with its latest version of Hyundai Blue Link telematics. The upgraded system will provide loads of features that includes smartphone integration and can be accessible on a browser as well. What sets it apart is that it also integrates with your calendar, and is able to localize by recommending alternative traffic routes, or a time to leave to have optimal road conditions if you're running an errand, or headed off on a vacation. You can also remote start your car right from your smartphone during cold wintery days, or when summer comes, to crank the AC.

All told, it's very cool, and we can't wait for its arrival on the Genesis here at Annapolis Hyundai. If it's a huge success like we think it will be, it wouldn't shock us to see it on other new Hyundai vehicles in the future. We'll make sure to provide blog updates if that is the case.

In the meantime, stop into our Annapolis, MD showroom, where we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and arrange test drives.
